Former President Obasanjo's Son Shot by Boko Haram in Baza

Boko haram has recently attacked a platoon headed by son of Ex president Olusegun Obasanjo shooting him and killing 24 soldiers in his command.

Adeboye Obasanjo is said to be an army engineer, he was a lieutenant colonel at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau state was shot in the legs as of the time of  this report is said to be on his way to hospital.

The platoon was was fighting Boko haram militants in Baza and lost 24 soldiers in the fight.

President Goodluck is Afriad of Boko Haram

With the current spate of insecurity in the country, a former minister of petroleum, Prof Tam David-west has criticized president Goodluck Jonathan for the terrible situation.

David-west who said he was convinced that the president was afraid of Boko Haram that was why he (Jonathan) refused to visit the parents of the school girls that were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno state over four months ago made this remarks during an interview with sahara TV.


David-west said: president Jonathan inviting the Chibok parents to abuja was wrong rather he should have gone to Chibok to visit them that would have helped the traumatized parents psychologically.


He also said Jonathan have no right to seek a second term in office and urged Nigerians to rise against bad governance. He said it was unfortunate that more Nigerians were being abducted


Speaking on the takeover by the dreaded Boko Haram sect which he described as shocking he said: "Anyone that is complacent about the state of affairs in the country is an enemy of Nigeria. It is a terrible situation and we should be ashamed. He is the commander in-chief and the number one security officer and citizen of the state".

"With all the security forces in the country, you cannot bring them. Our president is afraid of BokoHaram. He claimed they have infiltrated his cabinet and isn't he ashamed? since you know they have infiltrated your cabinet, why don't you expose them?"

Up till now, he has not gone to chibok and when he made that cosmetic move to see them, he invited the parents to come to Abuja and when they were going, he gave them money which has now been exposed and that is why Boko Haram has been like this because they know that the president is very week.

A 19-year old Russian Mother Leaves Baby Starve To Death While She Parties For Two Weeks

Alyona Ipatova starved her 5 month old daughter to death.

Alyona Iptova from st. Petersburg, the city popularly referred to as russia's "cultural capital" admitted the charges and confessed she had left the child alone in the apartment and had been missing for 14 days.


This is what she said in the court:

"i really regret what i did. I did not want that to happen,I realized what i have done".


Meanwhile the defense represented by lawyer Oleg Kiyashko insisted that the troubled mom had asked the baby's father to help her look after the daughter.here what he said "yes she leaves the child a times, Although she leaves her, sometimes she comes back in the morning, the father is at home, so he could still look after the girl"


All the attempts made by the defense to alter the charge from the murder of a minor to causing death by negligence yielded no results. The woman was sentenced to 10 years in imprisonment with hard labour.

China approves first #EBOLA drug 'jk_05'

jk-05 is the China's first Ebola drug  which have been approved for the treatment of the disease.
The drug was developed by the  China Academy of Military Medical Sciences.



According to CNTV, the research team spent the last five years studying Ebola's prevention and treatment, and the drug has shown anti-Ebola activity during cell experiments and testing.


It also recently completed pre-clinical testing as well as a clinical-safety evaluation. However,so far the drug has only been cleared for use in emergency situations.


Prof. wang Hongquan china Academy of  Military Medical Sciences said "jk-05 is a micro- molecular chemical, and its pharmacological mechanism is to selectively contain the RNA polymerase of the Ebola virus so as to inhibit virus replication".

Boko Haram takes over Michika Town in Adamawa state

Latest update on Boko Harama moves provides that the insurgents have take over the key town of Michika, Adamawa atate.

Nigeria military jet was flying over the area without attacking the insurgents, said sahara reports with reference ti the evidence given by the fleeing locals.



The military have reportedly directed troops to mararaban Mubi not to allow Boko Hram to seize Mubi. soldiers of the 23 Brigade in yola are allergly on the alert, ready to fight for Mubi.

 Bello Alaramma, a refugee from Gulak to mubi said:"all the residents of madagali have flied their homes to the mountains and Mubi town after soldiers retreated from madagali where they made a failed attempt to push out the insurgents and the recapture the town".

all this adds to the Nigerian's fear over further advancement of the insurgents and claiming of more terrorist as part of caliphate.

The first town claimed by the Boko Haram leader is Gwaza, previously captured by the insurgents. shortly the news broke out that Boko Haram millitants capture the strategic town of Bama and several other towns in different states.

Divorce case:Pastor Chris Oyakhilome allegedly sacks top Pastor

According to The Sun's findings, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has allegedly sacked one of his top pastors, Reverend  Grace for allegedly raising a prayer team to pray for the restoration of peace in the Oyakhilome's marriage.

Rev. Grace is said to have worked with Rev. Anita Oyakhilome at the London branch of the church.

Meanwhile, one of the ministers who spoke with The Sun said; "we suspected this issue is going to go public some day since the day Pastor Chris sacked Rev. Grace for meddling in his family affairs by openly calling for prayers among some members in London when Rev. Anita stopped coming to the church she was shepherding while all efforts to get her failed. Some of us believe our colleague in London did the right thing by seeking spiritual help for the family but i think Pastor Chris misread her intention and had to travel to London when he heard of the move to sack her and contain the spread of rumor among members in London."

Apart from the sack of the London Pastor, another issue connected to the divorce which has also been generating tension in the church is the cry of female ministers who are accusing Pastor Chris of introducing "controversial rules that are now threatening the foundation of many marriages in the church."

wizkid speaks the fact about his beef with Davido

In an interview with Olisa Adidua on his new TV program called the truth , WIZKID opened up on his recent beef with Davido. Below is what he said;

"The situation was just so funny to me because we were all on the same flight. I got back, i was really tweeting about my show. i was talking about  myself.I had a show in New York before that, that was like a year ago, or two years ago, it was sold out, sound was bad, venue we used was crazy..... it was f**cked up. i land for airport nah, i was going to my hotel, drove through the venue and i was like wow! This is me? came down, took pictures and posted it and caption i do proper show in proper venues. then people started catching feelings .but anyone shouldn't be mad at that. if that's the case people like IYANYA and other artist who has done show in the Us should also say some thing".

"When i saw that it was funny, it was all just play.I no get time abeg. i do proper shows so if you mad it means you dont do proper shows although i wasn't talking to any body i just promoting my show.
I'm doing something for my self, happy about my success and you hating on my success, i dont know what to say. should i consider you as a friend or foe? i don't know"

AUN to provide schoolarships for girls who escaped from Boko Haram

the American University of  Nigeria (AUN) today announced the launch of #EducateOurGirls campaign to provide full scholarship to the young Nigerian girls who escaped from boko haram after been kidnapped by the deadly group.



 The world was shocked when so many innocent girls were kidnapped for wanting an education, and we are all angry that so many are still in captivity, "said Dr. Margee ensign, President of AUN. "Today, we are proud to announce the #EducateOurGirls campaign that will provide scholarships for the kidnapped girls who have escapes. we are asking the citizens of the world to put their money where their hash-tags are and tangibly express their support for education and for protection of the human rights of these girls".


Previously on the 15th April  2014, Boko Haram kidnapped not less than 278 female students from the town of chibok in borno state of Nigeria and about 58of the girls escaped. To ensure their continued education, AUN has raised funds to provide scholarships to 11 students who will begin their studies in AUN.
